The Linden Dollar - Second Life's currency. Currently, $1.00 US will get you somewhere around 250L$. But you don't have to spend money to get Lindens, there are many ways to get L$ Inworld. You can get a job or become a builder, though that is a bit advanced for someone new to SL. At first, most people get Linden by winning contests at clubs, however they usually find that contest winnings just don't cut it for the amount they want to spend. ReplyDeleteYes, it does! You can exchange L$ for you're country's currency and vice versa. Some people actually make a (Real Life) living in Second Life. But it takes money to make money. That, and a lot of time and work.
